What is the difference between a reference standard and an impurity standard?
A reference standard is a highly characterized sample of the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) itself, used to identify and assay that compound. An impurity standard is a related substance, degradation product, or genotoxic impurity associated with an API, used to test for and quantify those impurities during quality control.
Does every product come with a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?
Yes. Every reference standard and impurity standard is supplied with a Certificate of Analysis and full supporting documentation, with traceability suitable for regulatory-ready quality control testing.
